Helicopter Charter

Need to lift an Air Conditioning Unit onto a 150  metre tall building? Want to examine every inch of your latest development site? Or would you simply like to provide your business colleagues with their most memorable lunch time break?

The helicopter has many and varied applications in both the corporate and construction world with Austcopters Pty Ltd responsible for pioneering many of these applications.

Executive or "flightseeing’ charter

Want to surprise or congratulate your business colleagues, friends or family with an experience they will never forget?

Austcopters can organise the perfect adventure flight or corporate escape. We can whisk you away in our six seat, high powered helicopter into the Maleny mountains for a three course gourmet lunch, deposit you on your own deserted island to enjoy a seafood feast or perhaps you’d prefer champagne at sunset on Stradbroke Island. The beauty of the helicopter is its ability to land on most terrains.

We operate one (1), three (3) and six (6) passenger seat helicopters with the largest and most capable machine being the Eurocopter AS350BA turbine-powered Squirrel. All these aircraft can be chartered for flights, such as: Transfers between Brisbane Airport and the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast,

  • Property survey,

  • Aerial photography or film,

  • Weddings, and

  • Scenic flights.

Eurocopter AS350BA Squirrel - 2-6 passengers:

  • ½ hour scenic flight of Brisbane city

  • 1 hour joy flight of Moreton Bay

  • Lunch at Maleny, Sunshine Coast Hinterland

  • Lunch at Noosa (Hastings St)

  • Lunch at O’Rielly’s Guest House in the Gold Coast Hinterland

Robinson R-44 -1-3 passenger:

  • ½ hour scenic flight of Brisbane city

  • 1 hour scenic flight of Moreton Bay

  • Lunch at Maleny, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland

  • Lunch at Noosa (Hasting’s St)

  • Lunch at O’Rielly’s Guest House in the Gold Coast Hinterland

 Robinson R-22 - 1 passenger:

  • ½ hour scenic flight of Brisbane city

  • 1 hour scenic flight of Moreton Bay

Please note, the flights to Maleny, Noosa and O’Rielly’s do not include the cost of lunch.

All of the above prices quoted are based on departing and returning to Archerfield Aerodrome. Pick ups in the city can be arranged at an additional charge.

Construction applications

The helicopter as a high powered lift vehicle has proved invaluable in the construction industry with certain machines able to lift over two tonnes with a experienced pilot in the seat. Austcopters is a leader in helicopter lift operations having undertaken work for many blue chip Australian companies including AMP, Lend Lease, Telecom and Qld Government.
